Demandware and Iterate Studio Partner to Accelerate LINK Ecosystem Innovation

BURLINGTON, Mass. & MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jul. 27, 2015-- Demandware®, Inc. (NYSE:DWRE), the industry-leading provider of enterprise cloud commerce solutions, and Iterate Studio today announced the signing of an innovation alliance agreement. This alliance creates an environment for Demandware to be exposed to emerging and innovative technology vendors whose potential additive value to the Demandware Commerce Cloud, and Demandware clients, is validated by the Iterate Studio proof-of-value (POV) methodology.

Founded in 2013, Iterate Studio has institutionalized the process of discovering, evaluating and testing early stage innovative technologies. Iterate Studio validates the efficacy of these technologies for retailers by running rapid POV tests on a retailer’s site and providing a thorough analysis of the results. As a member of the Demandware LINK Partner Ecosystem, Iterate Studio will build integrations between promising and innovative startups and the Demandware Commerce Cloud. It will then apply its methodology to test and analyze the potential value that the startup technology can deliver, producing a pipeline of emerging technologies that are validated by Iterate Studio and can accelerate a retailer’s ability to innovate and drive business growth.

“Innovation is at the core of the Demandware cloud commerce solutions,” said Tom Griffin, senior vice president of corporate development atDemandware. “The partnership with Iterate Studio not only complements the ongoing innovation that we deliver to the Demandware Commerce Cloud, this partnership will rapidly surface new and innovative technologies to the LINK ecosystem. The alliance will enable clients to more rapidly identify and adopt emerging technologies to drive competitive advantage in their markets.”

The Demandware Commerce Cloud is an industry leading ecommerce platform, providing Demandware clients with a more flexible and scalable platform to support the growth of their online businesses and the evolving needs of their sophisticated customers. The unique Demandware LINK Technology Partner Program takes advantage of the Open Commerce APIs in the Demandware Commerce Cloud, certifying a common integration across the entire Demandware client base. This empowers Demandware clients to choose from hundreds of certified partners who are able to rapidly integrate and deliver value on top of the Demandware Commerce Cloud, greatly reducing costs and delivering unparalleled time-to-value. Iterate Studiowill bridge this program to its community of earlier-stage and highly innovative software companies on a global basis.

“Leading retailers are continuously innovating to maintain and expand their competitive edge,” said Jon Nordmark, CEO of Iterate Studio. “With Iterate running a steady stream of innovation experiments through the LINK program, Demandware clients can add needle-moving new solutions based on proven data without disrupting their business operations.”
